Floral NOTD

I tried something that I wasn't sure I would like, but I did it anyways. I used to hate floral designs, I found it tacky, but now its growing on me...

I saw a floral tank at Hollister and I want it. I want it now.

But getting back to the nails, heres my take on the floral.

First time glitter tips NOTD

I decided to try something I've never done before although its been done tons of times by other people. I recently got I Vant to Be A-Lone Star by OPI from the Texas collection, a light blue grey, kind of like China Glaze's Sea Spray. When I swatched it I decided to put Bring on the Bling from the Burlesque collection on the tips and here is the result.

So here it is, OPI Bring on the Bling and I Vant to Be A-Lone Star.

Cosmetic Cupcake's Big Birthday Giveaway

One of the blogs that I followed before I started my blog is having a giveaway! She is selecting two winners and her giveaway ends on March 6th at 8pm Australian Eastern Standard Time.

Ahhh I'm a blogging newbie C:

I've always been a lurker on many blogs and I decided I should finally just the boat and make one of my own. I was a little worried because I wasn't of how dedicated I would be since I'm not used to running a blog but we will see how it goes. I still need to learn how to do html coding (is that what it's called?) to customize my blog with a personalized header like all the other cool blogs out there.

It took a while for me to think of a blog name that wasn't too generic or one that sounded cool to me now but got lame later on. The main purpose of me getting a blog is so I can post pictures of my own NOTD and polish swatches but I can also throw in random pictures that I take. I usually paint my nails while I am studying; my polish can dry while I am reading from the textbook, my kind of past time. So there you have it: Textbooks and Nail Polish it is!

ehehehehe. This reminds me of the time I had an Xanga. People then moved to Myspace and these kind of daily posts went out of the window. I feel quite nostalgic now.

Well I'll start off with an older NOTD picture I took for a forum. Hurray for my first blog post!

Here are the polishes I used:

Essie Steel-ing the Scene
